Wellness Through the Arts, LLC was established to support and strengthen families and schools through education and self-exploration services rooted in art and wellness. I provide individual and group expressive arts opportunities for children and adolescents. Supervision is available to new practitioners and students obtaining their ATR in art therapy. I also provide supervision for the REAT. |
My goal is to promote personal healing, growth, and wellness of individuals through the use of encouragement and the creative arts.
Expressive Arts Therapy
Individual and group expressive arts therapy is available for children, adolescents, and families. You will have the opportunity to explore life patterns and strengthen your ability to meet life's challenges through the expressive arts. My work focuses on the strengths that make each of us unique. These strengths ultimately serve as a guide to assist people in achieving their maximum wellness potential.
Services are grounded in Adlerian theory. I incorporate a variety of expressive arts modalites to meet the needs of each individual; art, music, movement, meditation, or anything else that helps the exploration process! The expressive arts provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes personal healing and growth. |
I specialize in autism, school misbehavior, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I also provide workshops on caregiver stress, positive parenting, PBIS, and team building. All my work is done through a multicultural lens that fosters respect and inclusion for culture, ethnicity, and religion.
