Teaching Future Counselors and Expressive Arts Therapists

Picture

As an educator, my goal is to provide my students with a relational learning environment that promotes engagement, encouragement, and creativity. By understanding each student’s strengths and integrating fun learning tools in my classroom, I am able to tailor each student's educational experience to meet their different learning styles. I believe that through an environment rooted in encouragement, all students have the ability to reach their maximum potential. These skills are then applied in practice, bringing the same encouragement to clients that was learned in the classroom. Evaluations (selection)

"It has been by far by best online experience within DL [distance learning] to date! Thanks for being so creative and leading-edge which made this class stand out in such a memorable way! Your teaching ability emboldened by your passion makes DL much more interesting than other instructors. You made learning fun and exciting by fanning the flame of curiosity to be the best therapist we can be. I say this not to blow smoke, but to acknowledge your determination to provide us an above and beyond learning experience. Thanks for your dedication to your craft and for inspiring many of us in this class!" ~ Student e-mail correspondence
